I first became interested in buses in about 1963 and have been hooked ever since. Growing up in Huyton, on the eastern fringe of Liverpool, my local operators were Crosville and St Helens Corporation, with Liverpool Corp. not far away. I had a brief spell as a conductor with Liverpool City Transport in 1968 before embarking on a career in the computer industry. I started taking photographs in 1980 and over the years have become well known on the bus rally scene in northern England as a dealer in bus photos. For many years I have been a member of the Merseyside Bus Club and the Ribble Enthusiasts' Club, both of which are recommended.
